Enhanced Grain Filling
More grains filled for better quality and uniformity.
TopGrain® is India's first dedicated Grain Filling Technology, designed specifically for paddy and wheat.
Better Grain Filling
Uniform Development
More grains filled for better quality and uniformity.
Heavier grains for higher returns.
More outout for better profitability.
TopGrain® is India's first dedicated Grain Filling Technology, designed specifically for paddy and wheat.
It works at the physiological level to strengthen the crop's natural grain-filling process, ensuring that the plant's full growth potential is effectively transferred into the grains. By supporting efficient sugar movement and starch formation during grain development, TopGrain® helps the crop convert growth into yield.
Helps move sugars from leaves to developing grains.
Mobilizes stored energy from the stem.
Supports starch formation inside the grain.
Ensures more uniform grain filling across the panicle or ear head.
Outcome: Grains become fuller, heavier, and more uniform - leading to improved yield and grain quality.
Why Good-Looking Panicles Fail to Deliver Full Yield?
Across India, paddy and wheat crops often look healthy till flowering. The crop grows well, panicles and ear heads form properly, and everything appears on track.
Yet at harvest, farmers frequently face:
Where the yield is lost
The yield loss happens after flowering, during the grain filling stage the final and most decisive phase of yield formation. Even with good hybrids, proper nutrition, and crop protection, grain filling often remains inefficient.
Why grain filling suffers
Result: The crop's full potential does not convert into harvestable yield.
Grain Filling: Where Yield Is Finally Decided
Grain filling is the stage when food produced through photosynthesis in the leaves, along with stored energy in the stem, move into the developing grains. filling them gradually until maturity.
This stage ultimately decides:
Grain weight
Grain size
Grain uniformity
Final marketable yield
What goes wrong under field conditions
Under Indian growing conditions, stresses such as heat, moisture imbalance, nutrient limita-tion, and hormonal imbalance often disturb this movement of sugars.
As a result, grains do not receive sufficient energy to fill completely even when the crop looks healthy from the outside. That is why grain filling is the most critical yield-deciding stage in paddy and wheat.
TopGrain® delivers visible and measurable benefits at harvest by improving grain filling efficiency.
Use as per label instructions and local agricultural expert’s advice
Heading Stage: when 50% of primary panicles are emerged from the boot.
Early Grain Filling Stage: Spray when kernels are at watery ripe or early milk stage; Around 7-10 days post anthesis
Directions for use: To prepare the treatment solution, add the required amount of TopGrain® to a spray tank about half-filled with water. Agitate while bringing the total volume of water to the required level.
Mix throughly with agitation to completely dissolve the TopGrain® and then add non-ionic surfactant @0.5 mi/litre of water.
