• Ormie spreads in the plant through contact and systemic action and forms a strong defense system. Ormie controls the infection and spread of the disease by stopping the cell formation of the pathogenic fungus.
• 1st site of action- ORMIE acts on the hyphae of fungus, avoids entry of fungus in plant system.
• 2nd site of action-ORMIE acts on erogsterol synthesis pathway thus affecting fungal cell membrane and inhibits growth of fungus.
