Dzire - INSECTICIDE

It is used for control of sucking insects, including leaf / plant hoppers, aphids, jassids, thrips and white flies in various crops like rice, cotton. It is also effective against soil insects like termites and some species of biting insects. It is suitable for use in integrated pest management.

Mode of action

Antagonist to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the central nervous system, Imidacloprid disturbs the proper signal transmission system leading to excitation of nerve cell and consequently a disorder of the nervous system leading finally to the death of the treated insect.
